On behalf of Sino-Phil Asia International Peace Awards Foundation, Dr. Sergio Ortiz Luis, Jr., Honorary Chairman of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and President of Philexport and Employer’s Confederation of the Philippines, presented the nomination letter to Rotary International President Elect Dr. R. Gordon R. McInally as laureate for Humanitarianism on 17th August, 2022 at Conrad Hotel Manila.
The presentation was witnessed by Sino-Phil Asia International Peace Awards Foundation Philippine Board members Dr. Rhoda Gonzales and Dr. Rose Gonzales.
Dr. McInally is the second Scotsman to receive our award, the first being Professor Ronald Harden, OBE, General Secretary of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE).
Sir Billy Chan, KCR, and Chairman of the Sino-Phil Asia International Peace Awards Foundation said, “It is a true honor to have Rotary International President Elect Dr. R. Gordon R. McInally become one of our special laureates.”
Sir Chan said, “Dr. McInally has conducted exemplary work for humanitarianism with the international rotarian spirit and we applaud him.”
Sir Chan added, “When COVID-19 disruptors fully subside, we look forward to holding our formal gala again with Dr. McInally warmly with us and the full board.”
